Fox Plaza is a casual and vibrant center in the rapidly developing Civic Center area of San Francisco. Built in 1966, the tower stands 354 ft (108 m) on the site of the former historic Fox Theatre, which was originally opened in June 1929. Conveniently located just off Highway 101 with direct access to the I-80, Fox Plaza is easily accessible from the BART line just one block away. There is a Starbucks, USPS, and restaurants in building itself, and the historic Hotel Whitcomb, Proper Hotel, and Holiday Inn are within three blocks.

SCHEDULE:

Continental breakfast will be served each day at 8:30am. Instruction will begin at 9:00am with a one-hour lunch break that will commence at noon. There are numerous dining options available in the immediate area, and the Fox Plaza staff can offer suggestions. The course concludes each day at 5:00 pm.

Make your way to US-101 N toward San Francisco. Take the Ninth St exit, EXIT 433C, toward Civic Center. Turn left onto 9th St. Turn left onto Market St. 1390 Market St will be on the right.

Lombard Street in San Francisco is one of America’s crookedest streets and found on many tours. The steep, hilly street was created with sharp curves to switchback down the one-way hill past beautiful Victorian mansions.

Cable Cars:
Invented here nearly 150 years ago and named a national historic landmark in 1964, the cable cars are kept in tip-top shape, and they’ve come to symbolize this great city.

Ghirardelli Square:
Ghirardelli Square, considered the first successful adaptive reuse project in the country, has a history that spans more than a century and covers three continents. This specialty retail and dining complex, housing shops and restaurants, was originally a chocolate factory established by Domenico “Domingo” Ghirardelli.

Napa Valley Wine Train:
